Help, I need to find a support group for others like myself!!

May 13th, 2008 at 09:45 am

CVS has a possible deal going on this week, but it requires combing the store to check if they have a very small product hanging on a wire clip hanger somewhere in their store. Not all stores have the product and if they do; there is no guarantee they will place it in the same spot.

Last night I dreamt I was at CVS looking for the item.

Also Lately I am catching myself checking the moneysavingmommy.com blog multiple times a day. It is not like I am going to be able to stop what I am doing and run into town. Luckily I have gotten a chance to preview next weeks CVS ad and I do not find one thing of interest. I may have a no CVS week coming up. Also my DS has gotten really attached to his video game, so if I ask if he wants to go to (any store) he says no. So dragging him out to the store deters me.

At first when I started CVS'ing my DH really did not get it, but after showing him the receipts and the bags, he is starting to be supportive. He jokes to his friends I can go to CVS spend $.75 and walk out with half the store. LOL I am not that good! The joke around the house is if I am not home, and he calls my cell I will be at CVS. I think I may have a problem. I am starting to really look forward to my courses this summer, since I will have NO chance to shop.

I think I suffer from ocd (obsessive cvs disorder). Is there a support group for others like myself?

Well, your first step is admitting you have a problem (LOL). You may have to start you own 12 step program, in your spare time. Smile

I have OCD Obsessive Coupon Disorder. I have serious addiction issues when it comes to couponing and store sales. CVS is not so much my problem as is Kroger. I check the Kroger add on Saturday night at about 12 a.m. (did you know that it when it is posted!!!) That way I already know what the deals are for my store before I get up and I get a few extra minutes jump on the coupons on ebay. I have a binder. My friends at work clipped a cartoon coupon that is of a woman clipping coupons and says: "I admit it, I am a coupon clip-aholic!" That is so me. I have done the CVS thing a few times but it has to be really good for me to like it. I have noticed that from time to time CVS has clearances on stuff like shampoo and with coupons I can frequently get them for free or just a few pennies. Hope I didn't cause you more issues with that info!

We have no CVS around here. (Maybe it's a good thing...) But I'm also OCD. Since this is my third year couponing, I am now kind of picky about the deals I do. (I will not get another bottle of shampoo unless I make money on them. YKWM?)

This month is crazy P&G deal month. I'm done with Walgreens and Rite Aid, but maybe hit Longs using some BOGO qs.

Lol, I know others like you, but I don't seem to do as well at CVS. I never seem to need/want the items that are on special or that qualify for the CVS bucks Frown

I have woken up in the middle of the night, working CVS deals in my head. You are not alone, in your addictions.
